Black Friday

Instead of participating in the shopping chaos that is Black Friday, Cody and I (with a few friends) went snowboarding at Copper Mountain! On the way up, we saw some big horn sheep (in the pic above). You might have to open the pic in a new window to see them clearly. They are a little below the middle of the pic.

Here I am in the parking lot getting ready for my first run of the year! They still had the snow makers going on the slope behind me.

Here is Austin, Kyle, and Cody getting ready. Casper came with us too, but he managed to get out of the picture.

The slopes are still pretty bare, but that night they got 6" - 13" of snow!

The drive home... in a bad snow storm. Saturday would have been a good time to snowboard, there would have been more powder and a lot less ice. I am pretty beat up from falling on the ice. But we had a blast, and I can't wait to go again in 2 weeks! I know Cody is ready to go again now, lol!

Thanksgiving 2008

Cody and I spent Thanksgiving this year with my parents, my Aunt Clarice, and our friend Casper. We had tons of fun visiting and we ate lots of turkey and mashed potatoes. We missed my sister, Carol, who had to spend the day studying. We also missed the Sullivan clan a ton!!! It looks like you guys had a fun Thanksgiving, and ate lots of delicious food!

Under that green siran wrap was pumpkin bars. They were soooooo good (that's why they are almost all gone...before the turkey was ready!) lol

Cody and I, waiting to eat. :)
The Thanksgiving table setup. That centerpiece was gorgeous!

After all these years, Cody and I (and Casper too) are still stuck at the kids table! LOL
We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

In Loving Memory

Oliver Doss

Here's to the loving slobber machine that greeted us at the door every time we came to visit, and wouldn't stop slobbering on us until he realized we were staying for a few days. :)
Here's to your cute puppy dog face, with your tongue always hanging out to one side.
And your cute whimpers if we stopped petting you to pet Pepper.
You were definitely one of the goofiest dogs I have ever met, but you were also one of the sweetest. All you ever wanted was to be loved, and you were (very much so). You will be missed, and we know you are guarding us all from puppy dog heaven.

I am sorry for your loss Kelli and Alan. Remember, when god closes one door, he opens another one.

No, it is not our wedding anniversary yet (we have only been married for 5 months), but it is the anniversary of when we started dating! 7 years ago today, Cody and I started dating! It has been a wonderful journey together. I miss you sweetie, and I love you!
