Celebration

To celebrate our first anniversary, I took a plane home after work on Friday. So of course, Cody got called in to work the entire weekend. This was the first weekend he had to work almost the entire time (Fri. night, 11 hrs Sat.), and I have a feeling it will happen more often now. Red Rocks is now open, and Cody works almost every show that comes in there. I went up on Saturday, and it was gorgeous! Everything was so green from all the rain out there lately.

Cody works in the dark red part of the stage (in the lower right corner of the picture). He hangs lights, or rigs points to hang trusses from.

While Cody was working, I went and picked up our 1 year anniversary cake. The place that made our cake (above) gave us a free wedding cake on our anniversary. I asked them to decorate it the same, and this is what I got:

LOL, the frosting was lumpy in appearance. But it didn't matter too much, the cake and frosting tasted great!
Maybe our next anniversary, we can actually go do something (like camp!!)

1 year ago............

(on June 12th), Cody and I were married! Happy Anniversary sweetheart!

The Tapestry House truly was an amazing place to be married at. I love you baby!

Aerobics

Barb (my boss) and I started an aerobics class last week called Low Impact with Weights. It definitely showed me the areas I need to work on (my abs!!!!!), and it has helped me to relax. We do yoga at the end of each session to cool down, which is so calming.

Here is my 'before' picture. Hopefully I can tighten those abs in the next 5 weeks! Our instructor is great, she must be at least 40 with everything she has done, but she looks my age (maybe even younger!) I would post Barb's 'before' picture, but she only wants me to post it at the end of the 5 weeks. I know we will have great results, how could you not after doing 200 sit ups (ouch), yoga, aerobics, and strength training 2 times a week?

Side note: Here is a pic of my job site today. It actually rained, and there was a double rainbow peaking out behind the hills at the end of the job. So pretty!
