Instead of participating in the shopping chaos that is Black Friday, Cody and I (with a few friends) went snowboarding at Copper Mountain! On the way up, we saw some big horn sheep (in the pic above). You might have to open the pic in a new window to see them clearly. They are a little below the middle of the pic.
Here I am in the parking lot getting ready for my first run of the year! They still had the snow makers going on the slope behind me.
Here is Austin, Kyle, and Cody getting ready. Casper came with us too, but he managed to get out of the picture.
The slopes are still pretty bare, but that night they got 6" - 13" of snow!
The drive home... in a bad snow storm. Saturday would have been a good time to snowboard, there would have been more powder and a lot less ice. I am pretty beat up from falling on the ice. But we had a
blast, and I can't wait to go again in 2 weeks! I know Cody is ready to go again now,
lol!
