Memorial Day Weekend

Over Memorial Day weekend, I took Friday off and went home to see Cody! It was a great weekend of lounging around, enjoying eachothers company. It is rare that we spend more than one day a weekend together. The weather was in the mid 70's, even though it was raining pretty much the entire time. The bunnies were out and about (see above), and it definitely looked like spring/ the beginning of summer. I really wanted to get to Fort Collins to visit friends, but ended up staying in Denver. We ended up going out one night to Blake Street Tavern with another couple we are friends with. We had a few beers, and it was nice to get out. We were supposed to go to a brew fest at Arapahoe Basin for the last day of the season they were open for snowboarding, but the rain nixed that idea, thus we ended up at the bar. All in all, it was a great weekend. I can't wait to be back home (only four more months)!
